Podium voor Architectuur werkt aan langlopende integrale processen en samenwerkingen. Vanuit urgentie initieert en faciliteert Podium voor Architectuur bottum-up verzoeken vanuit het veld.
Het open proces Hoofddorp-Centraal stopte najaar 2018 en ging vanaf daar verder in verschillende projecten. Op woensdag 3 oktober organiseerden we een feestelijke slotbijeenkomst.
In de aanloop naar de Dag van de Architectuur 2018 organiseerde Podium voor Architectuur een wedstrijd voor amateurfotografen met de titel Destination Rijsenhout. De opgave was Rijsenhout in twee foto's te fotograferen. Een foto van de bestaande situatie in Rijsenhout en een verbeelding van de kansen voor Rijsenhout.
In de aanloop naar de Landschapstriënnale in de Haarlemmermeer organiseerde Podium voor Architectuur een wedstrijd voor amateurfotografen met de titel Het Volgende Landschap. De opgave was 'Het Volgende Landschap' van de Haarlemmermeer en de Metropool Regio Amsterdam vast te leggen.
Podium was als één van de curatoren van de Landschapstriënnale 2017 medeverantwoordelijk voor het programma dat de grote urgente thema’s en opgaven voor het landschap omvatte: wonen, data, voedselproductie, klimaat, energietransitie, erfgoed, bodemdaling, recreatie en mobiliteit.
Haarlemmermeer heeft een rijkdom aan landschappen. Hoe zijn ze te onderscheiden en te fotograferen? Hoe ziet het landschap er uit vanuit het perspectief van gebruik, waarde, vorm of functie? Waar houdt een landschap op en waar begint het? Verschillende (amateur)fotografen gingen met deze vragen de afgelopen maanden aan de slag.
